COVID-19 Policy

PRIOR TO SCHOOL VISIT

If any of our staff develops symptoms of Covid-19, they will self-isolate following government guidelines. We will contact any schools with forthcoming bookings. If there is an alternative member of our team suitable, we will arrange for them to visit your school instead. If we cannot source a safe alternative staff member, we will reschedule the workshop on a date suitable for your school.

AFTER SCHOOL VISIT

If any member of our team develops Covid-19 symptoms who has visited your school in the past 14 days, they will arrange for a test and will inform your school immediately. We will inform your school of the test results as soon as they become available. We will also agree to any further contact tracing requests from school or government test and trace programmes.

POSTPONING A BOOKING

In the event that we are not able to deliver a booking due to Covid restrictions including local extra measures, playtime workshops will work with your school to re-schedule the booking as soon as possible within the academic year or 2021 / 2022.

Playtime workshops can  issue you with a  credit note pdf file for your peace of mind.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

During the school workshop playtime workshops staff will be mindful regarding, maintaining the  2+ metres distance from all school staff and pupils.  Please note, to help us with this matter, school will need to provide a large dry space.

MASKS

We can wear masks on request.  Our staff cannot wear visors whilst teaching. Our sessions are very active and involve movements where by the visors fall off. They are a hindrance to the energetic activities we teach.

MAINTAINING SPACE

We would welcome the teachers emphasising to pupils at the beginning of each session that they always maintain distance between themselves and playtime workshops staff.

KEEPING HANDS CLEAN

Playtime workshops staff will ensure that they wash their hands regularly throughout the time of their school visit. Our staff are happy to use your hand sanitiser to sanitise our  hands before each workshop session.

CLEAN RESOURCES

We will ensure that all equipment and resources are cleaned before each workshop session. A suitable interval will need to be allowed between each session for all equipment and resources to be cleaned.

CLEANING EQUIPMENT

Your school is responsible for providing the cleaning agents and hand sanitiser.
